In 2024, Vanderbilt Health continued to refine and improve MyHealth Bundles, an innovative, value-based program for managing some of the most prevalent and expensive health conditions. Our 2025 Bundles Impact Snapshot celebrates our greatest accomplishments from the past year, while shining a light on what’s new and what’s next for the program. With unmatched experience and a commitment to quality, we continue to redefine bundled health care.
2024 highlights include:
- Dramatically reducing MSK surgery rates compared to the market
- Saving $1 million by avoiding an estimated 50 neonatal incidents for one employer
- Maintaining a Net Promoter Score of 83, which far outpaces typical health care experiences where the average NPS is 46
Our cumulative results are even more impactful. Since launching MyHealth Bundles, we have:
- Served more than 11,000 bundles patients
- Supported individuals in dropping more than 40,000 pounds through bariatric surgery
- Delivered almost 3,000 babies
- Helped nearly 9 out of 10 spine patients get back to work within 90 days of surgery
Just as important, this report includes some of our recent improvements to MyHealth Bundles. We continuously innovate to enhance our impact. For example, this past year, we:
- Added a cutting-edge, minimally invasive surgery option to our spine bundle. This procedure is not offered anywhere else in our market and is only available at a handful of other medical facilities nationwide.
- Integrated patient-reported outcome measures to provide employers with a key measure of value and give clinicians real-time data to guide decisions.
- Launched “universal pricing” to simplify pricing comparisons for employers and streamline the quoting process, making it easier to evaluate bundled solutions compared to traditional fee-for-service costs.
- Upgraded our maternity bundle to cover all ER visits (not just pregnancy-related ones), provide support for pregnancy loss, incorporate genetic testing and expand access by making the bundle available at regional hospitals.
