Vanderbilt Total Health Team Provides Mental Health Workshop to Area Employer

The mental health support and behavioral health education provided by Vanderbilt Total Health (VTH)'s Wellbeing program to area employers have grown more popular post-pandemic.

Taking advantage of the team’s expertise, the Country Music Hall of Fame asked VTH to develop a three-part workshop for its staff to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Month in May. As part of the series, Stephanie Brodtrick, PhD, VUMC Senior Director of Learning Systems and Organization Development, Jon Ebert, PsyD, VUMC Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and Tyler Banks, licensed clinical social worker with VTH, are leading discussions about how to promote psychological safety in the workplace. The team will ultimately help executive staff draft a plan to continue strengthening employees’ mental health and support a healthier workplace for all.
