Vanderbilt Health partners with Hall of Fame Health to provide personalized care for retired professional football players and their families.
Through that partnership, Pro Football Hall of Famer Alan Faneca turned to Vanderbilt when he needed a shoulder replacement. With multiple football injuries from his years in the NFL, Faneca came to Vanderbilt for a surgery that has taken away his pain and restored full use of his right arm. The former Pittsburgh Steeler now has no restrictions and is back to coaching and playing ball with his kids.
