Vanderbilt University Medical Center is sending several tons of medical supplies to Ukraine this week after a plea from Ukrainian health officials for help from U.S. health care organizations and private corporations. The 25 pallets are part of nationwide efforts to provide needed medical supplies to Ukraine, which continues to suffer widespread death and injury and damage to its health care infrastructure at the hands of invading Russian troops.
