Vanderbilt University Coaches Share Healthy Recipes in 'Cooking With Coach' Series

Over the past few months, Vanderbilt Health has rolled out a “Cooking With Coach” series in partnership with Vanderbilt Athletics. The entertaining videos, hosted by Vanderbilt Health’s Mallory Yoder, invite Vanderbilt University coaches into the kitchen to chat and spread the word of the healthy recipes on MySouthernHealth.com.

From desserts to appetizers to healthy vegetable- and carbohydrate-pairings, the episodes feature the coaches sharing yummy recipes to try out on your friends and family:

Clark Lea, VU Football Coach: Corn, Black Bean and Tomato Salsa

Greg Allen, VU Women’s Golf Coach: Oven-Baked Buffalo Cauliflower Bites

Head Coach John Williamson and Associate Head Coach Josie Barnes, 2023 National Champion VU Bowling team: Veggie-lover’s pizza

Beth Hewitt, VU Women’s Lacrosse Coach: Bowtie pasta with broccoli and garlic

And catch Althea “AT” Thomas, VU Director, Cross Country, Track & Field, in the video below as she shares a delicious dessert with not too many calories: Pineapple-Raspberry Parfaits.

To kick off the Cooking with Coach series, Vanderbilt University Football Coach Clark Lea joined Vanderbilt Health’s Mallory Yoder to whip up Corn, Black Bean and Tomato Salsa.
