Vanderbilt Health Walk-In Clinics Expand Portfolio of Convenient Care

When you need medical care but can't make it to your doctor, Vanderbilt Health's Walk-in Clinics provide same-day, full-service care for a variety of illnesses and minor injuries. The Vanderbilt Health Walk-in Clinic Belcourt recently opened near the VUMC campus, offering patients the option to walk in or schedule an appointment online.

Vanderbilt Health's walk-In clinics provide treatment and diagnosis for conditions such as colds and flu, rashes, insect bites, ankle sprains, as well as COVID-19 testing and treatment. The clinics also offer X-ray, EKG and lab services on-site.

The Belcourt clinic marks Vanderbilt Health's 10th location in the Middle Tennessee region. View the full list of clinics across Davidson, Williamson and Wilson counties at this link.

Ever wonder whether your condition can be treated in a walk-in clinic or if it's best to go to an emergency room? Life-threatening symptoms of heart attack and stroke such as chest pain, shortness of breath, and difficulty with vision, speech and weakness of the arms or legs should automatically trigger a trip to the ER. For less-severe conditions that don't present multiple symptoms, a walk-in appointment might be ideal and provide more appropriate and often less-expensive care.
