Vanderbilt Health Now Scheduling COVID-19 Vaccines for Ages 12 and Above

Vanderbilt Health is now scheduling COVID-19 vaccines for all ages 12 and older, after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration expanded the emergency use authorization of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine to include children 12 to 15 years old.

You can schedule an appointment today with Vanderbilt Health, even if you or your child haven't been a patient with Vanderbilt before. Locations will be at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital (beginning Friday, May 14) and at One Hundred Oaks Mall location.

Two important notes:

• Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian with them when they receive their shot.

• The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention no longer recommends spacing between the COVID-19 vaccine and other vaccines. They can be given at the same time. This may be of particular interest to parents whose children may due for other immunizations.

Feel free to inform your workforce about this new, easy-to-access opportunity to offer vaccines to your employees and their families. Learn more and find links and a phone number on this site.
