To commemorate April as Donate Life Month, Donate Life Tennessee invites individuals and groups to become a part of its community in two ways:
1. Register as an organ, eye and tissue donor. There are more than 100,000 patients on the national transplant waiting list, and 20 people die every day waiting for a lifesaving transplant. It only takes a couple of minutes to join the Tennessee donor registry at this link.
2. Buy an awareness T-shirt to wear during Donate Life Month and beyond. The shirts are designed to raise awareness of the lives saved through organ donation. All of the proceeds from the sales of shirts purchased at this link are directed to Donate Life Tennessee programs. Shirts are $17 each, two for $25, and there are options for bulk orders of 50 or more.
