In 2020, Vanderbilt's MyMaternityHealth bundled care option was offered to 6,000 teachers in the Metro Nashville Public School System–and both deliveries and patient satisfaction are on the rise.The bundle contract between Vanderbilt and the Nashville school system covers all maternity-related services—from perinatal guidance to 12-weeks postpartum–for eligible patients.
The bundle connects expectant mothers to a patient navigator who serves as a touchstone, guiding the woman through education options, setting up appointments and directly linking her with important resources, including childbirth classes and lactation support.
