The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) now recommends booster shots of the COVID-19 vaccine for everyone 18 and over. Adults who received the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least six months prior are eligible for a booster dose. Adults who received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine are eligible two months after completing the single-shot regimen.
CDC recommendations now allow for a “mix and match" approach, so you may choose which COVID-19 vaccine you receive as a booster shot.
