Clip In 4 the Cure: A Cycling Party With a Purpose

Looking for a fun activity for your employees that promotes health and wellness and gives back to the community? Check out Clip In 4 the Cure, an annual team cycling event that supports cancer initiatives at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center (VICC) and Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. The 2024 event is Saturday, Sept. 14 at Geodis Park, home of the Nashville Soccer Club.

How It Works

Participants can form a team of four cyclists, join an already-existing team or register as a free agent. Registration is $40, and each registrant is encouraged to raise funds leading up to the event. All individuals who meet their $400 fundraising minimum will receive a T-shirt, sweat towel and shaker. Several incentives, such as concert tickets, gym memberships and other experiential prizes, are available for certain fundraising milestones.

On the day of the event, each four-person team will be posted to one stationary bike, and each member will cycle for a 40-minute session. The high-energy sessions pair one of Nashville’s top spin instructors with a live DJ.

How to Make a Difference

The event is a great way for companies to engage their employees and support cancer research at VICC and Monroe Carell. There are two main ways for employers to make an impact:

  • Employers can click here to become an event sponsor.
  • Employers can encourage their employees to form a team by covering their registration fees or fully sponsoring an employee team.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward lifesaving research and innovative patient care with the goal of creating a world without cancer.
